About | Books are Better Shared

Terry Gilman has spent more than 25 years creating events and reasons for readers and writers to come together. She has created this unique one-day event sure to inspire book clubs. The inaugural event  took place on May 18, 2014, at the beautiful Mission Viejo Norman Murray Center.  Because it was so well received, this partnership continues annually to bring authors and readers together to discover new ways to share books.

 About the Organizers:

Her Ladies, Lunch, and Literacy events have helped establish her as a reader worth following and are known for introducing authors to her community before they are widely known. Her work on behalf of Mysterious Galaxy and her community earned Gilman the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Heart and Soul Award in 2010, and in 2009 she was named a Friend of the Los Angeles WriteGirl mentoring program.
